Happy Sunday afternoon! So far, so good for the weekend! This morning before it got too hot, Ifinished up a can of pain on the front pipe rail. I just have a small part to finish the whole job. Then, at about 9, we worked the horses: went out and gathered some cattle to work, practiced them on the cattle (for the cutting in Sweetwater next weekend), claened stalls, washed the horses, conditioned tails, etc., etc. Then we went to town and I had a taco salad. I confess I ate some chips, but that’s it. I haven’t had one sweet thing other than a little fruit, since we started. We picked up supplies (shavings, fly spray) and drove home. We stayed out of the 100 degree heat until 4, and I then mixed up some weed killer, and sprayed the fence lines. THATS IT FOR TODAY!! Now we are shaded up inside, and I’m not going to eat anything else tonight!
