Calorie Watching Lifestyle
This group is where you limit your calorie intake anywhere from 1,200 to 1,800 or beyond if needed. You are good at keeping track of calories. You can eat more of what you want, but are limiting calories. So, if you want that piece of cake, you can but just realize you will need to sacrifice something else during the day for that many calories!

“Workouts are easy. The real challenges are faced in the kitchen.” (Meme I found on social media, but for some reason I’m not able to down load it here.) This is sooo true for me this time of year, but I’m much better now than I was a year ago. Stay strong everyone!

Nutrition…the struggle is real. BUT…I am much better at making healthier choices. There are days that I don’t want to cook or make a meal because I didn’t plan ahead…and I am headed to some fast food joint. In the past I might not think twice about ordering, but now…I turn around, go home, and fix something healthy! Thank you Cowgirl Fit!

Intermittent fasting hasn’t been too bad. Still trying to get it all figured out. So much conflicting information out there. Anyone else trying this?
Food for the last couple of days has been:
Yesterday:

Loving the warmer weather. Don’t know about all of you, but for me, it makes it easier to eat lighter meals…salads, smoothies, etc. Stick with it ladies. We are in this together!

Cardio and leg days always seem to take more out of me. I feel like I need to eat more, but that makes it hard to stay within my calorie goals. More protein or more carbs? Or both?

Continuing to track nutrition. Had pizza over the weekend. I think for the first time in history I stuck to one slice and then filled up on veggies. Had corned beef and smoked cabbage with potatoes and green beans cooked in avocado oil on Sunday. Weighed and measured everything. I am really struggling with drinking 64oz of water and logging my food.

I know what you mean about the water. One thing that I do is fill an empty milk jug and mark different times on it to drink. I’ll post it in the f.b. group. It seems easier for me to drink water in the summer, that’s for sure.

I have found that drinking it at room temperature helps me. Not everyone likes that. It definitely takes time to adjust. Maybe it will be easier as the weather gets warmer. You can do it!
