Listened to a great podcast this morning by JJ Virgin called “Feel Great and Lose Weight After Menopause”. Only 17 minutes but full of great information. Her podcast is Ask the Health Expert. I found it on Apple podcasts, but she can also be found on other social media. Enjoy!

Haven’t made very good food choices lately and my brain and joints certainly can tell. It’s amazing how food choices affect everything. Back to better food choices!

Feeling my age a bit today. Joints are a bit sore. Don’t know if it’s the incoming storms or just doing more with the warmer weather. I’m a firm believer that exercise keeps the joints lubricated, but some days they (my joints) disagree. It’s all good, though. HI, I am new to the group. I am almost 50 and had an accident in October last year and did my ACL which has been repaired but exercising has been very hard…eating is not to bad either but I am an emotional/stress eater.

Hi Meggs. I’m sorry to hear about your accident. Injuries do create a bigger challenge. Hopefully you are able to stick with your physical therapy exercises at home to help speed up the healing process. The 10 day sugar detox and tracking food has helped with my emotional/stress eating. Hope it is also helping. Stay strong!
