Hi everyone! Today was excellent at the office. I had a greek salad, took off the croutons and didn’t eat the pita. I love feta cheese. No meat on it, so I followed that with 1/3 c of blueberries. It’s the end of Day 5! You guys are awesome. We love reading your comments and how you are beating the sugar. Hang in there, the end is in sight and then you can start incorporating a little sugar in your diet or continue the no sugar ban. Keep it going!

One of the things that we do regularly is walking/running with our horse. Instead of always riding, we take long walks with bouts of jogging. You wouldn’t think Day 3 would be this tough! At the office, they had a baby shower, complete with chocolate fountain, marshmallows, cookies, etc. etc. OMG I was so tough. I did have some grapes and strawberries, but no chocolate, no cookies. My eating was again very good, and I did the exercise video!

Yes, Day 3 was tough for me as well! I didn’t eat sugar, but I ate too many Wheat Thins, LOL!

Wheat thins sound like they should be good for us (and they are yummy) but the carby little bastards are addictive. You should have seen me stare at the chocolate fountain! Who would think that’s a good idea to bring to an office full of overweight women????

I am doing the exercise workouts, then go outside and work in the yard, or do stretching. Tonight, I came home and mowed the orchard. Dang it’s hot! But I am hanging in there!

I am getting a lot of walking in. My horse is boarded about 2 miles away, so I’ve been walking to see her. So hot, so I do it in the morning. Then swimming in the afternoon.

I’ve been feeling a little weaker today, so I had some peanut butter and also added some grapes for a snack. Feeling better. I passed up on some discounted donuts today. They looked wonderful, but I didn’t pull the trigger. Haha! Going to get a swim in now.

Having sugar cravings? Here is a protein shake recipe with no sugar that is pretty yummy. We used blueberries, but raspberries or strawberries would be yummy. It also gives you some energy. Try it!

We have been talking about how important walking is in your day to day exercise. We would love to see you get 10,000 steps a day, but sometimes that is not doable. I have used Leslie Sansone’s workouts for years, even during pregnancy. They are low impact and burn calories. Try it out!

Hi everyone! I’m not sure how to use this website, but this seems to be a good start. I actually did have a good start to the 10 day sugar detox yesterday.
