    • Sooo happy for you! Can I be jealous? Planned to ride on Saturday, but Mother Nature changed my mind. Dang wind! Going to blow again today and tomorrow, as well as rain tomorrow, sooo…guess I’ll have to wait a few more days. At least Scooter will have more time to get the meds working for his joints.     I can get behind this Step Challenge! I like that my phone will count my steps! I can get 5000 steps in easily, but 10,000 will require some concentrated effort.

    I am doing Kundalini Lounge 40 day weight loss yoga. I think I’m at day 26 today. I just started the Kundalini Lounge 40 day Mental Health one with my daughter. I need to get more steps in though.

  • I try to aim for 1400 calories but am not good at it yet, cant believe how fast things add up

    I haven’t logged in for 7 days😬 I have been doing my yoga, recommended for my medical issues and anxiety, I would like to get back to walking or riding bike, it is hit or miss🤷‍♀️ I would like to get more consistent. Hope all is well with the rest of the group!

    Working out 5-6 days a week. I usually get 5 days in. Weekends are a little tricky, so I try to make everything I do some sort of workout. Example: Cowboy and I went to pick up some pallets for the hay barn. Packing those pallets is a good arm and cardio workout…BONUS! Need to get more walking in.     100 squats per day…25 at a time. Added 100 push-ups per day…also 25 at a time. Noticing little changes…my skin is more hydrated; I’m better able to make healthy food choices; I don’t have the sugar cravings; and many more. I don’t feel like there has been any change in my weight or measurements, but I’m not giving up! One day at a time!

    Motivation for today…and every day. My mom and dad. Mom had two debilitating strokes by the time she was my age (58) caused by type 2 diabetes and heart disease.     Watched “Beyond the Edge” with Lauren Alaina. She is just the cutest, but has had her own body issues.     Feeling a little frustrated, but sticking with workouts, nutrition, and natural sugar (in food). I have drank 75 oz. of water per day for the last couple of years.     Been a few days since I have visited this site, but have kept up with workouts and nutrition. Made the 10 day sugar detox. My son and his family were here for dinner on Sunday. Had a small slice of light cheesecake for dessert, but other than that I’m still living sugar free other than natural sugars found in foods. Hope you all are feeling great!

  • Cardio and leg days always seem to take more out of me. I feel like I need to eat more, but that makes it hard to stay within my calorie goals. More protein or more carbs? Or both?
