I have stayed away from sugar all day and my headache is slowly going away! Hopefully tomorrow it will be gone! I’m going to start the 30 day Ab/Squat Challenge. I’m going to get these abs and thighs in shape! 🙂

A Quick Tip for inner thigh workout is to drop your stirrups. Take your boots out of the stirrup and ride for 10 minute increments. It will do wonders for your inner thighs and you will feel it the next day! 🙂

Yes, my skinny boots LOL

-
LOL! Love this! Yes, I figure the months are going to go by anyway, and I’ll be so glad I did this when I’m fitting back into my old jeans!
-
This is so true! I love it!! And I’m hoping I’ll be needing new jeans for Christmas 😉

Ok… so to say I’m out of shape is understatement. However, on my iPhone I downloaded the app Asana Rebel. It has short workouts and stretches to do throughout the day. I highly recommend it. I’m already getting more flexible.

I’m at the hospital with my sisters… my mom just had surgery. So the stress level is high… the surgery was a success so that is a relief for now… she had a tumor removed from the left lung this morning… early reports say it is not cancer… My oldest sister brought “treats” for us…. Guys… you have got to try dehydrated okra if you…[Read more]

Praying for your family. We went through that last year with pancreatic cancer, among other things. So happy for you her surgery was successful. And family support is the greatest!
-
Thank you so much! We were quite relieved. But she has another tumor on the right lung… We will be back here in 1-2 months.
-
Hope your mom is doing well. That can be so stessful!
-
So sorry! I hope she can have a quick recovery!

Even with things “against” me today I stayed on track! We are moving my mom from WA state to NM so it’s all chaos and we are out twice today but I made smart choices and had water to drink even though my husband had to get Dr Pepper! lol. We walked home from the restaurant and moved plenty of boxes and painted a room today. So I stayed activ…[Read more]

Good work! Sounds like a busy time, which definitely makes it harder to stay on track food wise. Think of the money you save by not getting an “actual” drink when you go out…
And yay for horses being home soon!-
Thank you! We’ve stocked up on protein bars, and better snack options for being on the go rather than stopping to go out to eat. I’m going to try and do some body weight exercises at stops to keep myself moving around through the drive.

For exercises I can’t really incorporate Bubbles into, such as yoga, I’ve lucked out with his pretty consistent nap schedule that allows me somewhat planned time to myself to get it done! How do other mamas work around their baby’s schedules?

After not working out for a while and getting back into it, I noticed my muscles have been extra tight. That, along with the air quality being terrible, made me decide to stay inside today and work on stretches. I did a couple of short yoga sessions and attempted pilates.

Less of a headache today from sugar withdrawals. It’s a drug y’all! Lol Trying to replace it with water, since that seems to help most things.

Another, less altruistic motivation is to look good again in a bikini haha! Hubby and I were blessed enough to get to honeymoon in Bora Bora, Tahiti, and Moorea, and eventually would love to go back. It’s so humid there, it’s great to not feel the need to cover up.

Has anyone done baby weight exercises, where you work out with your baby as the weight? Sometimes, when Bubbles just won’t accept not being held, it turns into a pretty good workout.

I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday; Bubbles is starting to teeth and needs lots of mama time lately. He loves being held, and pounding on keyboards, so I can’t do much on the computer when he needs me.
Anyway, I cut a lot of time off my neighborhood loop yesterday morning. I’m down to my early pregnancy time of exactly 40 minutes. I was…[Read more] -

Here is a 30 day workout challenge. When you finish, start again and add more reps so that you end up with 100 situps, 2 minute plank and 200 squats!! Think of how great shape you will be in!

It’s been a long but good day! I was able to get a 70 min total workout in 😊 half was walking/ jogging and half was body weight leg workout. I have been getting better, but I truly struggle with being too competitive with myself. I need to remember I don’t have go 100% or 0%. I really struggle with walking vs running, taking more time to do cer…[Read more]

Start where you are, do what you can, right??
-
Haha I know it, but it’s been different knowing vs doing. That’s now changing.
-

I can relate! It’s hard when you are competitive – we are told the we should be our own competition, which is great, but we have to find that in-between you are talking about. Not as a resting place where we become stagnant, but as a step towards winning the competition against yester-us lol
-
EXACTLY!!! Lol. It’s okay to not be breaking records everyday, but keep doing stuff everyday to keep getting stronger and breaking personal records in the long run!
