Another workout in the books. Increased weight on last set of each exercise. Will walk the pasture with my horse during lunch…before sitting behind a computer for the rest of the afternoon. Then chores and walking dogs tonight. Happy Tuesday!

Horses got new shoes yesterday…YAYYY!!! Looking forward to riding again. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate soon. 🙂

Almost through the 10 day sugar detox. Still going strong. Amazing how reducing sugar intake has decreased inflammation in my joints. I think I’ll continue even after the 10 days. Up to 75 squats per day (25 reps at a time :)) …on top of any that are included in my regular workouts. Continuing to track nutrition as well. Feeling great!

Sugar detox…day 6…getting easier to “just say no” to sugar. However…my protein shake for lunch had a whopping 15 grams of sugar (organic cane sugar, acacia gum, and fructooligo-saccharides)…GRRR. No official workout, but feeding horses, cleaning stalls and filling water troughs…5 gallons at a time…is a workout…right? 😉 Same breakfast as yesterday, except I swapped wheat toast for 1/2 of a whole wheat “Thinwich” and had an apple rather than strawberries and blueberries. Cold walk with the dogs, a 30 minute combo cardio/weights workout, followed by a yummy breakfast of avocado toast with scrambled eggs, strawberries, and blueberries!

Day 3 of sugar detox…the struggle is real 😩. Fortunately I’m not a fan of Jolly Ranchers or candy fruit slices. Whew!!! Stuck with lots of protein, fruits, and veggies. 💪💪💪
